Making online deals safe for everyone
Online deals between strangers rely on trust nobody can verify. ESCROW.org replaces that trust with a process: the money is secured first, released last, and every step is recorded.
Fair to both sides
Buyers are protected from non-delivery. Sellers are protected from payment fraud. Neither is treated as the suspect.
Transparent
Fees are published, statuses are explicit and the audit log shows what happened and when.
Secure by design
Hardened sessions, two-factor login, encrypted identity documents and strict input handling throughout.
About this project
ESCROW.org is a portfolio demonstration of a full-stack escrow platform built with PHP, MySQL and vanilla JavaScript. It runs against PayPal’s sandbox so no real money moves. PayPal does not provide escrow natively, so the platform implements the hold-and-release logic itself with PayPal Orders and Payouts.
Operating a real escrow service is a regulated activity in many places and PayPal’s policies restrict it. Get legal advice before taking payments from real customers.
